Subject: Alarm System Problems - by: ukeye

If you have an unmonitored alarm, “which is an alarm that does not go to a monitoring station” then the only way you will get police response is if somebody phones the police on hearing the alarm.

Unfortunately we live in a world where alarms are going off continually and if we are to be honest? How many times have you heard an alarm go off and considered it to be not worth investigating; or yet another instance of your neighbors’ alarm spuriously activating?

If the police are called to the alarm and it is found to be false! There will only be two or three other times they will investigate the activation before they refuse to attend.

Car alarms go off constantly and we have been programmed to ignore them because their frequency has dictated so.

A monitored household alarm which goes to a monitoring station is verified by a phone call and in most circumstances user codes are requested to determine and verify the reason for activation and whether it is worth police attendance.

However if you are unable to confirm your identity or you are not present then the police are called to investigate.

You then come under the three strikes and you are out policy, which says if they attend an alarm where it is considered false then any more than 3 attendances to false alarm activations within one year then they have the powers to refuse future attendances.

This also applies to commercial properties.
The time taken to attend often allows the intruder to evade capture and escape.

As proven in the above post.

However there is an inexpensive solution and a solution where false alarms are completely eliminated, allowing you total piece of mind knowing police attendance will not be withdrawn.
This can be achieved by our unique identification system which within moments confirms intruder activity combined with intruder identification aiding in the capture and proving of that activity.

This of course means that where detection was impossible to place in the past such as sheds; the capabilities of our system now allow this detection to be placed without fear of losing police attendance, combined with the security of your equipment.

Should anybody wish to discuss this further in more detail, then you can leave a post here or contact us.

hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii,

"Water Swing" is originated in the Song Dynasty. It is similar to today'as diving without the springboard but a swing board set up on the fore of a boat. The performer shall swing high to run parallel to the board and loop into the water. It was an evolvement of acrobatics in the Song Dynasty and plays an important role in Chinese acrobatics history.

As the UK's leading Log Suppliers (http://www.logs2u.co.uk/logs-supplier) we get lots of questions from our customers each day about buying logs online.

One question which is very common is, how heavy is your Bag of Logs? or what does a bag of logs weigh?

This question is usually posed because customers are trying to find Cheap Logs (http://www.logs2u.co.uk/cheap-logs-and-wood-fuels-price-reductions) to buy and have seen logs for sale (http://www.logs2u.co.uk/logs-for-sale) on other log suppliers web sites and the logs or firewood is sold by weight.

Here is our best advice for you.

Log Buying Step 1- Make sure you are buying and comparing like for like.

Kiln Dried Logs (http://www.logs2u.co.uk/category/buy-logs-online/kiln-dried-logs) are not the same as Seasoned Logs (http://www.logs2u.co.uk/category/buy-logs-online/seasoned-logs) and both seasoned and kiln dried logs are not the same as Unseasoned Logs (http://www.logs2u.co.uk/category/buy-logs-online/self-season-logs) or green wood. When you see an advert for logs or firewood make sure that the company selling the product states whether they are seasoned, unseasoned or kiln dried logs. It would be easy to see a bulk bag or two of logs at a price which appears to be half the price of another sellers product - and that can easily be the case - for example, If you were to compare a dumpy bag of kiln dried logs to a similiar bag of unseasoned logs.

Log Buying Step 2- Don't get drawn into trying to work out weight comparisons. Under UK Law, (The weights and measures act) companies are not allowed to sell logs by weight. The reason is to protect you the consumer and this is to do with the moisture content of logs. If you are looking for a good deal don't order by weight.

Any business who has published logs for sale by weight has not met the requirements of UK law and therefore there may be other significant things in their service delivery that they also get wrong - for instance, do they label their products as seasoned, unseasoned or Kiln dried? If they don't, you may be paying out your hard earned cash on a bag of water! Logs can contain over 60% water! To elaborate the point to the extreme - If you really want water, you can get it free from your tap or if you really wish to pay for it you can buy it from a supermarket in plastic bottles! If you want value for money buy logs which are very low in moisture content.

Log Buying Step 3- Don't get confused with terminology. Softwood logs are different from hardwood logs and a hardwood log does not mean it is seasoned either - to make things simpler here is a simple list of unique products - each one is different. To understand more about this use one of the links listed at the end of this article.

Kiln Dried Logs can be either...
Kiln Dried Softwood Logs
Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs

Seasoned Logs can be either...
Seasoned Hardwood Logs
Seasoned Softwood Logs

Unseasoned Logs (sometimes named as green logs or green wood) can be either...
Unseasoned Hardwood Logs
Unseasoned Softwood Logs
All unseasoned logs need to be first seasoned in a log store (http://www.logs2u.co.uk/category/buy-logs-online/log-stores) or similiar dry, airy location.

Fire Logs (http://www.logs2u.co.uk/category/buy-logs-online/fire-logs) or Heat Logs usually mean a manufactured log made from waste wood products.

Generally speaking, most people prefer hardwood logs (http://www.logs2u.co.uk) as they burn slower and hotter than softwood logs. Softwood logs are great on milder days.
