"Water Swing" is originated in the Song Dynasty. It is similar to today'as diving without the springboard but a swing board set up on the fore of a boat. The performer shall swing high to run parallel to the board and loop into the water. It was an evolvement of acrobatics in the Song Dynasty and plays an important role in Chinese acrobatics history.
