We visited this place as we heard it Is under new management apparantly, so we tried it out last week and last night.They have a live band every week ... last week when we went they had a group doing beatles , kinks , cliff and shadows stuff . it was great
Its a great place for the over 30's too. which made us feel welcome and not aged! lol
food is good, and they have motown/singles nights and are to start a regular karaoke night starting this coming sunday 29th so we will go and try that out..hold ya ears!! lol
The people who go in are friendly as are the staff and the new land lord and landlady,.,who seem eager to please. They say they dont aim to alter the pubs already weekly events but plan to add more to please the already regular regulars!!
ps hope this doesnt sound like promotion!! but im so pleased to have found a place that isnt over run with young drunk rowdy kids and where we at our age can feel comfortable and let our selves go a bit and where we at our age (late 40's) can be comfortable and enjoy ourselves.
